Making wishes come true for children (ages 2 - 18) with life-threatening illnesses.
Most wish requests fall into four major categories: "I want to go . . . ," "I want to be . . . ," "I want to meet . . . ," or "I want to have . . . . FYI: A large percentage of all wishes are for Disney World or Disneyland.

The WBFJ Morning Show will be 'at your service' this ‘Fat Tuesday’ (February 24, 2009) at the "Second Annual Celebrity Serve for Wishes."
Lunch: Beef O’Bradys on Robinhood Road in WS (Darren + Tami)
Supper: River Birch Lodge on Robinhood Road in WS (Verne + Tami)
The event is a fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. ALL money raised will stay right here in North Carolina to help make ‘wishes’ come true.
